MEET VFD AFTER SEPTEMBER 1st 2010 |
VFD most recent projects, the restoration of SS Rotterdam V which now serves as a hotel with conference facilities, and the delivery of MS Nieuw Amsterdam, the 14th ship in the Holland America Line fleet, have been very rewarding and were both received with great enthusiasm.
The current economic situation shows that at the moment VFD is not involved in any design project. And new assignments are not to be foreseen for the near future. Consequently, the architectural office of VFD falls apart as of September 1st 2010. Arnold Bos, former managing director of VFD, is in the possession of all relevant information of the past: ships – refits – arts, thus being able to answer any questions in relation to ongoing projects and possible new projects.
